Inc. Chub served in the United States
Marine Corps as a Corporal from
August 11, 1944 until July 13, 1946.
He saw action in the Pacific Theater
and participated in action against the
enemy at Iwo Jima from February 19
to March 27, 1945. He was awarded
the Honorable
Service Lapel and
Presidential Unit Citation. He was a
member of Amherst VFW Post 49.
