Bray, Brian (Cathryn) Bray and Eric
Bray; great-grandfather of 19; uncle to
many nephews and nieces, greatnephews
and nieces. A WW II veteran
of the Pacific conflict, awarded three
Bronze Stars, served in Bismarck
Archipelago, New Guinea and Luson.
He served as a Staff Sergeant. Married
in 1947, worked as a manager of A&P
Stores, managing the largest A&P on
the East Coast at the time, Mil-Pine
Plaza, Niagara Falls, NY; worked for
A&P until they left the area in 1974,
when he became an independent
operator of Arnold’s Bread, working
long hours and hard days, then retired
to part time work until the age of 88
years old, working with his son-in-law
in the family business. Member of
Bridgewater Country Club for over 24
years, active in the Men’s League.
Friends may call Friday 2-4 and 7-9 at
the DIETRICH FUNERAL HOME, 2480
Kensington Ave., Amherst. A Mass of
Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturdayat
9:15 AM at St. Andrew’s Church, 1525
Sheridan Dr., Kenmore. Please
assemble at church. In lieu of flowers,
a donation may be made to Hospice of
