VALONE – Dr. James S. PhD February 4, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Geraldine (Guzik) Valone; loving father of Stephen (Kim), Thomas (Shawn), David (Kathy) and Robert (Janice); devoted grandfather to Peter, Thomas, Sasha and Sydney. James is also survived by a sister Judith and brother Richard. Friends may call Thursday 3:30-6 PM at the DIETRICH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2480 Kensington Ave., Amherst. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at Christ the King Church, 30 Lamarck Dr., Amherst at 9:30 AM where James was a devoted member for more than 50 years. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dr. James S. and Geraldine G.
