Ed was born in Utica, NY in 1964 to Ed and Ann Eisenlord Sr. Ed graduated from Sweet Home High School in 1982. He received a BA in Psychology from The University of Buffalo, a Masters from the University of Pennsylvania and a Masters from Columbia University. He moved to New York City with the love of his life, Michele, whom he married in October 1990. Throughout their marriage, they lived in Mahopac, NY, Doylestown, PA, and Milton, GA. They have three children: Edward III (Rob), Matthew and Madeline.
Ed was proud to be an Eagle Scout, as were both of his boys, Rob and Matt. Ed received a four year scholarship from both the Navy and Army for undergraduate studies. After graduation from the University of Buffalo, Ed continued his Army career in the Army Reserves. He trained in Arizona in Military Intelligence, and served as an officer in both Operation Dessert Freedom and Operation Desert Storm, earning a bronze accommodation medal retiring at the rank of Captain. Ed enjoyed Science Fiction movies, hunting and fishing, and the rooting for the Buffalo Bills.
Ed worked at Dynarex, ConvaTec, Derma Sciences, Integra and most recently as VP of Strategic Accounts at Molnlycke Health Care.
Whether you called him Butch, Ed, Eddie or Double EE, friends, family and colleagues knew him as loyal, kind, genuine, and brilliantly funny.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions may be made to KCcures https://kccure.org/donate/ or the National Kidney Foundation https://team.kidney.org/…/In-Memory-of-Edward-R–Eisenlord-… with the hope of finding a cure for kidney cancer. An account has been established at Fidelity to assist with college tuition for his two younger children. The Fidelity account is linked on Ed Eisenlord Jr Facebook page.
