Beloved wife of the late Frank Zinter. Loving mother of Paul (Donna) Zinter, Carl Zinter, Richard (Barbara) Zinter and Christine “Tina” (Russ) Zinter-Chahin. Loving grandmother of Tricia, Nicholas (Maggie), Stehpen (the late Erica), Christopher (Liz), Lauren (Ben), Alex (Lily) and Eric (Caile), and 9 great-grandchildren. Loving sister-in-law of Irine (the late Robert) Zinter and the late Alfred (the late Norma) Zinter. Pre-deceased by 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Also survived by nieces and nephews. She passed away peacefully at 103 years of age after enjoying a life rooted in her deep Catholic faith. She enjoyed many summer trips to the Adirondak Mountains, especially Blue Mountain Lake and Chautauqua. She also enjoyed weekly Scrabble games, playing Pinochle and most of all time spent with her family. A visitation will take place on Thursday December 19, 2024 from 3-7pm at The Dietrich Funeral Home Inc., 2480 Kensington Ave. Amherst, NY 14226. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday December 20, 2024 at 11am at St. Aloysius Gonzaga Church, 157 Cleveland Dr. Cheektowaga, NY 14215. Please assemble at church. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to Sisters of St. Mary of Namur at The St. Mary Center, 241 Lafayette Ave. Buffalo, NY 14213.
Dear Zinter family our deepest sympathy to you and your entire family. Mrs. Zinter was a lovely lady with such a kind and loving heart. She always made you feel important and appreciated. Such an amazing woman. We will always remember her fondly.
Gerry you will be greatly missed by everyone especially your family. May you rest peacefully in the arms of our Lord.

I have such wonderful memories of Aunt Gerry. So many Christmas Eves, and dinners on our back patio. She was always warm, had a smile, and great sense of humor. My deepest condolences to the entire family. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. She will be missed.
