Service will be held at 10am at The Dietrich Funeral Homes, Inc. SCHALL – Gregory David of Buffalo, NY, passed
away peacefully on September 23, 2022 at
the age of 96. Greg was a proud WWII
Veteran of the United States Air Force and
known for his strong character, integrity,
and love of God, and his family. His
letter writing touched the lives of many
and will be treasured. He was
predeceased in death by his beloved
wife Jean (Cook); they were blessed
with five children, Gregory (Pat), Kathy
(Tim), Donna (Joe), Mary Lou (Bob)
and the late Patricia (Steve); loving
grandfather of Shawn, Jennifer, Stephen,
Elizabeth, Matthew, Grace, Mason,
Ryan, Garrett and the late Gregory
John; brother of the late William Schall;
also survived by many greatgrandchildren,
nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Saturday,
October 1st, from 4-8 PM, at
THE DIETRICH FUNERAL HOME,
2480 Kensington Ave., Amherst,
NY. A service to honor his memory will
be held at 10 AM on Sunday, October
2nd. In lieu of flowers, his family request
donations be made to Hospice Buffalo.
