Henry M. Wymbs, Jr., M.D.,  passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2026. Beloved husband of Linda (nee Graczyk) Wymbs. Loving father of  Brian T. (Frances) and Nicholas F. (Jennifer) Wymbs. Dear grandfather of  Patrick, Mary, Lucy, August, and Evelyn. Fond brother of Mary (late Kenneth) Frawley, Linda  (Dr. David Stevens) Wymbs,  and Vincent Wymbs. Loving uncle of Margaret (late Frank) Ryan.  Dr. Wymbs was a 1973 graduate of UB  Medical School and a long time Chief Medical Officer for MEPS DOD at the Niagara Falls  Air Base retiring in 2013 after 23 + years of service. . He was a member of the Air Force Reserves for many years achieving the rank of Flight Surgeon. Known for his love of family, the Buffalo Bills and his beloved alma mater  Notre Dame.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 9, 2026  at 9:15 am at St. Leo the Great Church, 885 Sweet Home Road, Amherst, N.Y. 14226. Kindly assemble at the church.
