www.TheDiectrichFuneraHome.com April 25, 1936 — Nov. 3, 2014 John J. DiPasquale Sr. of Williamsville, a retired pharmaceutical salesman, died Monday in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. He was 78. Born in Buffalo, he was a graduate of Canisius High School and went on to earn a degree in business from Canisius College in 1958. While in college, he was a cadet captain in the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps. Mr. DiPasquale later achieved the rank of captain in the New York Army National Guard, where he was a battery commander for the 106th Field Artillery. As a pharmaceutical salesman for Lederle Laboratories for 35 years, Mr. DiPasquale lived with his family in Buffalo, Jamestown, Long Island and, ultimately, Williamsville. He and his family traveled throughout all 50 U.S. states, as well as the Canadian provinces. He also traveled with friends and family throughout England and Europe. Mr. DiPasquale was a scout master in both Jamestown and Williamsville, and was a longtime member of the Buffalo Curling Club. He was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church golf league and its choir. He was a founding member and Grand Knight of St. Gregory the Great’s Knights of Columbus, Chapter 14687, and was a district deputy and chairman of the Board of District Deputies of Western New York. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, the former Rose Mary Januszcazk; three sons, Jay, Rob and Tom; three daughters, Maria, Laurie and Terrilyn; seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9 a.m. Saturday in St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 200 St. Gregory Court, Williamsville.
