passed from this world at the age of 84 on
February 28, 2023, with our love and
gratitude for his life. Beloved husband of
Suzanne (nee Schramm); devoted
father of Jane (Rick Cousineau) and
William G. (Samantha) Cudmore;
loving son of the late William E.
Cudmore, M.D. and the late Marguerite
M. Cudmore, M.D.; dear cousin of
William (Sandy) Cudmore of Oakville,
Ontario and Evelyn Mary (Jopp) Kalss
of Montreal, Canada; brother-in-law of
David (late Georgiann) Knight. Jack
served 35 years with the N.Y. Army
National Guard, retiring as a Major
General of the line. Relatives and
friends will be received on Saturday
March 11, 2023, from 2 PM – 5 PM at
THE DIETRICH FUNERAL HOME,
2480 Kensington Ave., Amherst. In lieu
of flowers, a donation may be made in
Jack’s memory to Wounded Warrior
Project, Donor Care Center, P.O. Box
758518, Topeka, KS 66675. Burial at
Forest Lawn Cemetery is planned for a
