survived by a large extended family of

the US Navy, serving as a Medic, and
often would share stories. He worked at
General Mills for 40 years and was very
involved in safety and community
projects, such as Habitat for Humanity
and the Jessica-Caitlyn Run. He had an
infectious smile, and a unique way of
making anyone feel comfortable in any
situation, and was always ready to help
those who needed it. He had a host of
friends, especially Jim and Jane
Fullagar, Lynda Ferriter, Joan and
Butch Zeis, Carole Russo and the
Ramos family, Maryann and the late
David Perez, Frank and Linda Koerber
and his VNA family. Also survived by
his four-legged kids, Elmo, Daisy and
Sophia. Jose retired in 2016. He and
Maureen would often travel to Florida. If
he had a title, it would be LOVES
MUSIC, LOVES TO DANCE and
enjoyed his time as a DJ, earning him
the nickname Gigger. He will be truly
missed by those who knew him. Please
perform an act of kindness in his
memory. A special thanks to all the
health care workers at St. Joseph’s
Hospital, who cared for my Jose when I
could not be there. Due to the
pandemic, a Celebration of Life will be
scheduled at a later date. Arrangements
