Service: SATURDAY, May 7th, 2022: A Mass of Christian Burial willl be celebrated at 9:00 AM at St. Benedict’s Church, 1317 Eggert Rd., Amherst DOLAN – Phyllis (nee Mellerski)
Of Morrisville, NC. Formerly of
Buffalo, NY, passed away at age 74,
on April 23, 2022. Phyllis graduated
from Archbishop Carroll High School,
earned a bachelor’s and a master’s of
Education from Buffalo State College.
Jim and Phyllis raised a family in
Hamburg, NY, Davie, FL, and Cary/
Morrisville, NC. She worked most
recently for the Wake County Library
System in the Library Assistant role, at
the Cary Library, and retired in 2021.
Phyllis was well-known for her amazing
baking skills, particularly cheesecakes,
cookies, and various other cakes.
Phyllis is survived by her husband,
James “Jim” Dolan; children, Erin (Eric)
Huntley, Brian Dolan (Melissa Aleman),
and Jay Dolan; her grandchildren,
Kate, Cole, and Rian Huntley; as well
as her siblings, Tom Mellerski, Mary
Jankowski, Rose Cianciosa, Martin
Mellerski, and Larry Mellerski. She is
predeceased by parents, Casimer and
Victoria Mellerski; and her siblings,
John, Joseph, Dorothy, Paul, Philip,
and Peter Mellerski. She will be greatly
missed by her family, neighbors,
coworkers, and friends. The family
wishes to extend their sincere thanks

Eisenbeis, Clare Bremer M.P., and
Dr. Emil Kheterpal. No prior visitation.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held
on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 9 AM, at
St. Benedict’s Church, 1317 Eggert
Rd., Buffalo. Please assemble at
church. In lieu of flowers, memorials
may be made to the Wake County
