Richard E. Guild, passed away on January 7, 2026. He is survived by his devoted wife, Jean (nee Backes) Guild; his daughter, Nicole (Christopher) Queenan; and his grandchildren, Jackson Richard and Jacob Leo Queenan. He was the brother of the late Daniel Guild and Roy Guild, and brother-in-law to Deborah Guild and Susan Guild. Mr. Guild is also remembered by numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 from 2-5 pm at the Dietrich Funeral Homes, Inc. 2480 Kensington Avenue., Amherst. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
