Beloved father of Michael (Nicole) Kaun & Amanda (James) Weber. Loving grandfather of Kaylie, Tyler, Colin, Cora, Adeline, & Natalie. Brother of Ronald (Karen) Kaun & the late Robyn Weston. Survived by nieces and nephews. Services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. Memorials can be made in Robert’s honor to the Alzheimer Association. I had the pleasure of knowing Bob the last 10 years. He treated me and Natalie as if we always belonged in the family. I love hearing all the “Coach Bob” stories. I loved playing sports as a kid and am jealous of my husband and Amanda for having the ultimate coach for a father…I often daydream of what he would have been like as my own dad growing up.
I am eternally grateful to have met him when I did and had the pleasure of calling him “Dad”. Rest peacefully

I’m not sure if this is the Robert Kaun who I knew many years ago. His mother’s name was Laura, and I believe his father’s name was Raymond. If this is that Robert, Laura was my Godmother. The last time I saw Laura was at the funeral for my mother, Lois Anderson in 1979. When I was a boy, that Robert and I would see each other when our parents visited each other’s homes. My most vivid memory is watching Robert run his Lionel trains. If this is not the same Robert, just disregard this post. Ralph Anderson
