Quagliana, Ruth (nee Marcy)
of Williamsville, NY entered into rest September 30, 2023; Beloved wife of David Quagliana; devoted mother of Douglas (Crystal), Daniel (Alicia), David A. Quagliana and Donna (Woodrow Keith) Purkey; cherished grandmother of twelve and great grandmother of two; loving sister of Col. John (Paula) Marcy and Rita (late David) Daberkow; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Ruth was a fourth-grade teacher with the Catholic School system for over twenty years, a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Hutchinson Hose Company-Williamsville Fire Department and a licensed amateur radio operator with the call letters WN2QKF. Relatives and friends may visit The Dietrich Funeral Home, 2480 Kensington Ave., Amherst, NY on Tuesday October 10th from 4-8PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sts.
