Age 91, of Williamsville NY. Born in Buffalo, NY to Esther (Frank) and William E. Pritchard, she attended South Park High School and was a proud member of the Buffalo Bills Band. After graduating from Pennsylvania State University, Shirley worked for 12 years as a teacher in Ewing Township, NJ and Kenmore, NY. In 1965, Shirley married Robert “Bob” Hudders, and they had two children, Wayne and Neal. Shirley dedicated her life to service including volunteering at Trinity Church, Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site, Habitat for Humanity, and Meals on Wheels. Additionally, she served on the Vestry at Trinity and the Board of Trustees at the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site. Shirley enjoyed shoveling snow into her 90s. She is survived by her sons, Wayne (Jennifer) of Fairfax, VA, and Neal (Caroline) of Seattle, WA and four grandchildren, R. Stone, Nathan, Emily and Corinne. She was predeceased by her parents, husband Bob, and brother William E. Pritchard, Jr. A Celebration of Life will be held at Trinity Church, 371 Delaware Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14202 on July 5th at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Shirley’s name to either Trinity Church or the Theodore Roosevelt Site, 644 Delaware Ave, Buffalo, NY 14202.
