The Troy household had an open door policy and Mr. Troy was always ready for ideas & a conversation. My neighbor’s family had a sister placed at the People Inc Care home near the Troy’s home. Teresa would just stop in at the Troy’s walking the neighborhood. A gift in both directions! That open door stood up well for recent times with lots of visits to Mr Troy by caring children & in law children who are full on caring adults now. A legacy of both connection & endurance by all the Troy’s. May fun & funny memories sustain.
Dear Joyce & Family,
Our most sincere condolences & sympathy at Tom’s passing. In so many ways his common sense, clarity and integrity gave me a path to follow in our many dealings at Erie Niagara Funeral Directors Association & beyond as my personal and business Attorney. Rest In Peace, Tom.

Tom was a gentleman. I ran into him often in downtown Buffalo and his smile and gentle teasing were always a welcome joy.
Thank you for sharing your humor, respect and love with all of the Jeffers clan from California. I just loved coming to Buffalo as a kid and I’m so grateful for our time together after Mom (sister-Anna) passed. She so loved you and her brothers so much. My condolences to Aunt Joyce and all my cousins. We were so blessed to have Uncle Tom and all the Troy siblings for a shared beautiful life. My prayers to you all for the difficult days ahead.
On behalf of the Erie Niagara Funeral Directors Association, our board, and our entire membership, we’d like to offer our deepest sympathies to the Troy Family. We are forever grateful for Tom’s commitment to our association for decades. Sincerely, Anthony Basile, ENFDA President
Dear Joyce and family,
I am sorry to hear that your husband has passed. You were blessed to have had a lifetime of love, so much more than many others have had. You were blessed! I wish you and your family peace and comfort in the many years of memories you have.
Sincerely,
Wendy McMenamin
