Service Private CALLAHAN – Barbara A. (nee Jakaub) August 2, 2016, devoted wife of 61 years to Patrick Callahan; mother of Kevin (Mary Jo) Callahan, Kimberly (Jeff) Pratt and Susan (Bob) Brown; grandmother of seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; sister of David (Betty) Jakaub; also survived by nieces and nephews. A family funeral service will be at a later date. After graduating from E.J. Meyer Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, Barbara married and spent her life enjoying raising her family in Clarence. She was an active member of the Buffalo Curling Club and the Juniper Horticultural Society. She also enjoyed knitting, sewing, playing bridge and spending wonderful times with family and friends – you were the joy and happiness in her life. Flowers declined.
