Beloved father of Nicholas (Maggie) Zinter. Loving grandfather of Henry and William Zinter. Loving son of the late Frank and Geraldine (nee Tiede) Zinter. Loving brother of Paul (Donna) Zinter, Richard (Barbara) Zinter and Christine “Tina” (Russ Sciandra) Zinter-Chahin. Loving brother-in-law of the late Roberto Chahin. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Former spouse of Maria Zinter. Carl graduated with honors from Clarkson University School of Chemical Engineering. Family and friends may visit on Tuesday April 29, 2025 from 3-7pm at The Dietrich Funeral Home Inc., 2480 Kensington Ave. Amherst, NY 14226. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday May 12, 2025 at 10am at St. Aloysius Gonzaga Church, 157 Cleveland Dr. Buffalo, NY 14215. Please assemble at church. Our heartfelt condolences to Carl’s family. Carl was a friend and fellow student at CHHS, and we shared many adventures and misadventures over the years. He came from a truly wonderful family. We regret that we’re unable to attend his service, as we now reside in Florida, but please know that our thoughts and prayers are with Carl and all who loved him.
