Beloved wife of the late Richard Duermeyer. Loving mother of Marilyn (Christopher) Illuzzi, William Duermeyer and the late James and the late John Duermeyer. Loving mother-in-law of Karen Duermeyer and Roberta Duermeyer. Loving grandmother of 7 and great-grandmother of 5. Pre-deceased by 4 sisters. Carol was President of North Bailey Fire Co. Ladie’s Auxiliary. She worked at Amherst Middle School for over 20 years. A visitation will take place on Saturday January 4, 2025 from 10:30am-12:30pm at The Dietrich Funeral Home Inc. 2480 Kensington Ave., Amherst, NY 14226 where a Funeral Service will immediately follow. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to Heritage Christian Services.

Marilyn and Bill, sorry to hear of your mom’s passing, I always enjoyed a conversation with her. May she rest in Peace with the angels.
Dear Marilyn and Billy, I’m sorry we didn’t know about your Mom’s service. Our thoughts are with all of you as you celebrate her life. Your Mom was always gracious and kind to me through the years. And, of course, I so appreciated her guidance in the kitchen! Hugs, Barbara
