April 12, 2026, beloved wife of the late Robert W. Kersten; sister in law of Margaret Mary (the late Donald) Rusciolelli; also survived by nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call Thursday, April 16th from 3–6 pm at The Dietrich Funeral Homes, Inc., 2480 Kensington Ave., Amherst. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 17th at 9:30 am at Christ the King Church, 30 Lamarck Dr., Amherst. Please assemble at Church. I got to know Celeste at Brothers of Mercy. She became close with my mom, who misses her friend. I enjoyed chatting with Celeste, joining them for their “around the world” outdoor walks, and discovering the mutual connections with Snyder and Christ the King. Rest in peace Celeste.
