Beloved husband of the late Shirley A. (nee Gaia) Godinho; loving mother of Douglas G. Godinho and Garland (Nancy Wittemann) Godinho; dear grandfather of Gaia and Aja. Doug practiced law in Hamburg, NY. He retired to Florida, where he played USTA league tennis. A funeral service and interment will be held on August 23, 2024 at the WNY National Cemetery, 1254 Indian Falls Rd. Corfu, NY at 11am. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Beechwood Continuing Care in Getzville, NY, where he was a resident in Assisted Living since 2019. Douglas was a Social Security law specialist who did excellent work on behalf of thousands of SSA beneficiaries whose lives were improved for a lifetime
