Beloved wife of the late David S. Tiftickjian. Devoted and loving mother of David (Darlene) Tiftickjian, Richard (Holly) Tiftickjian, Elizabeth (Raymond) Rott, and Christian (Jacque) Tiftickjian. Cherished grandmother of David (Katellyn), William, Kristen, Theodore, Ava, Mason, Grant Tiftickjian, and Raymond (Sienna) Rott; great-grandmother of Lily Tiftickjian; also survived by two sisters Anne (Richard) Keigher and Virginia (the late Bart) Moore.
Family and friends may call on Friday, February 27, 2026, from 4–8 PM at The Dietrich Funeral Homes, Inc., 2480 Kensington Ave., Amherst.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Betsy attended High School at the Park School in Amherst, NY, and was a graduate of Tuff’s University with a degree in Physical Education. Betsy enjoyed a thoroughly active lifestyle her whole life; she was a successful breeder of English Springer Spaniels, an avid golfer, tennis player and ice skater. She especially enjoyed time with family and friends in Silver Bay, Ontario Canada.

Betsy was the best, a very classy lady. I always enjoyed our time together at Silver Bay. I will miss her.

Betsy will surly be missed by so many people Of the Dog world, she never spoke a bad word about anyone, She supported the Kennel Club of Buffalo many years at least 50 that I knew of , I personally will miss her charming personality and her bright smile, your wings a wait you dear woman fly high ,fly free
We will always remember Betsy at the dog shows in the club meetings, always laughing, smiling always cheerful. She has a treasure she will be so sorely missed. Our greatest love, prayers and sympathy to the entire family.
