Colin O’Malley; great-grandmother of
Patrick Wayne; sister of the late Donald
(Louise) Day. A Funeral
Service will be
held on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at St.
Paul’s Episcopal Church, 4275 Harris
Hill Rd., Williamsville, at 9 AM. Flowers
gratefully declined. Memorials may
be made to Hospice Buffalo. Evelyn
was born in East Pembroke, NY to
the late Louis and Edna (Eldred) Day.
She was a recipient of the prestigious
Jesse Ketchum Award for Academic
Excellence among students in the
Buffalo Public Schools. As a young
woman, she worked as a secretary for
Curtis Wright, and in later years, for
the University at Buffalo. She will be
remembered for her smile, her love of
literature, and her embrace of computer
