It’s been two days since we lost you, Uncle Michael, and honestly, I still don’t know how to put into words what I’m feeling.
You weren’t just my uncle. You were like a father figure to me. You were always there, always willing to help, and someone I knew I could count on no matter what.
After losing my mom, you were there for me in ways I will never forget. You helped me through some of the hardest days of my life, stood by me and our family when we needed someone, and helped me keep going when things felt impossible.
Now I’m having to say goodbye to you too. It hurts knowing that another person I love so deeply is gone, but I find some comfort knowing you are no longer alone. You have joined so many of our loved ones in Heaven, including my mom, and I know you’re together again, watching over all of us.
Two days feels like no time at all. It still doesn’t feel completely real, and I know this is going to take time to process.
Thank you for always being there for me. Thank you for loving me, supporting me, and being the father figure you were in my life. I will forever be grateful for you and everything you did for me.
Rest peacefully, Uncle Michael. ❤️🕊️🙏
Give Mom a hug for me.
Until we meet again. I love you, and I’ll never forget you.
Michael, I was deeply saddened to learn of your passing. Although we had lost touch over the years, I will always cherish the many fond memories we shared as cousins when we were younger.
Some of my most treasured childhood memories are of the time we spent together during sleepovers and family gatherings, playing with Transformers action figures, reading comic books, and simply enjoying each other’s company. Those moments reflect a simpler time and remain memories that I will hold close for the rest of my life.
While the passage of time may have taken us in different directions, I am grateful for the years we shared and the lasting impact those memories have had on me. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family during this difficult time.
