Service: SATURDAY, September 5, 2020: A Private Memorial
Service will be held following the visitation. HAMBLETON – HERBERT J., III “TREY”
Age 59, of the City of Tonawanda, passed away Monday
April 20, 2020 at Hospice Buffalo in Cheektowaga after a
long illness. Trey was born on May 3, 1960 in Buffalo, NY.
He was the loving husband of Mary (Balling) Hambleton,
devoted father to Jacqueline Hambleton and devoted grandfather
to Serenity Santiago; son of the late Herbert, Jr. and Marjorie
(nee Sprenger) Hambleton; son-in-law of the late John
and Eleanor (nee Thomas) Balling; brother of Kim Likus and
Darcy (Gary) Bruno; brother-in-law of Patricia Cadwalader,
Rick (Sue) Balling, Dawn (John) Schneider and the late John Balling
and the late James Balling; loving uncle of many nieces and nephews
and great nieces and nephews and the late Nicole (Bruno) Bates.
Friends and family may call on Saturday, September 5,
2020 from 1-2 pm at The Newman Center at UB, 495 Skinnersville Rd.,
Amherst, NY 14228. In consideration for the safety of family
and friends, and keeping in mind the social gathering limitations,
a maximum capacity of 50 people inside the building, facial coverings
and social distancing of 6 feet protocol will be followed. A private family
service will follow. Trey worked at DeGraff Memorial Hospital for many years,
and then worked at Mount St. Mary’s Academy in Town of Tonawanda.
He was a member of The Tabernacle of Orchard Park. Arrangements by
