Service was held earlier. HAUMESSER – John C., MD
Of Port Charlotte, FL and Amherst,
NY passed away peacefully at age 73,
on May 17, 2021. Beloved husband of
Carol (Gambacorta) Haumesser; loving
father of John J. (Katarina), Patrick
(Allie), Joanna, Luke (AnneMarie),
and Charles. Cherished grandfather to
Elliot, Calla, and Mac; son of the late
Carl and Anne Haumesser; dearest
brother of Mary Paula Hasan and the
late Joseph Haumesser; also survived
by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
John was a gifted physician, caring
for countless patients in Western New
York and Grenada over his near40 year
career as an Orthopaedic
Surgeon. He was a graduate of St.
Aloysius Gonzaga, Canisius High School,
Canisius College, and the University at
Buffalo School of Medicine. A private
service was held earlier this week at
St. Aloysius Gonzaga Roman Catholic
Church. In lieu of flowers, donations
may be made in his memory to Canisius
High School, 1180 Delaware Ave.,
Buffalo, NY 14209 or to the West Side
Rowing Club, One Rotary Row, Buffalo,
