I just learned of John’s death. I worked with John for many years. He was a devoted counselor and an active member of our BOCES Counseling Department. I will always remember his cheerful nature as well as his commitment to his students and the staff with whom he worked. We will always remember him. My heartfelt thoughts are with his family.
We went back a long way from our Sacred Heart and Holy Family days to our adulthood. John was a fixture in our school memories. He always had a smile and a joke. That way of his set him up so well when we met up again at Leary Jr High when he became a counselor. He will be missed. His legacy continues through his and Tina’s children. They were a great team in successfully guiding Rory, Megan and Erin. God bless you all.
My deepest sympathies to Meghan and family. I fondly remember many a time hanging out with friends in the Corcoran basement. I always enjoyed the interactions we had with your dad when he would pop in to say hey and see what was going on. A very kind, funny, and memorable guy.
