John “Mike” O’Shea
Passed away Sunday, March 10th. Beloved husband of Roseanne (nee Kozlowski) O’Shea. Devoted father of Debra (Kenneth) Pawlak and Michael O’Shea. Cherished grandfather of Sarah (Fiancé Xavier) Pawlak, Rachel (Jesse) Lalka and Matthew Pawlak. Loving brother of Robert (Linda) O’Shea. Also survived by nieces and nephews. To the family of “Mr Oshea”,
I’m really sorry to hear about his passing. He was a great man and holds a special place in the memories of my childhood on Vine Lane growing up along with his son Michael. I know he meant a lot to you and I hope that you can find solace in knowing that he’s in a better place and that you have great memories together that you can reflect on. He had a great wit, with a deadpan sense of humor, and that Irish gleam in his eye, all of which made him an easy person to like. While he could always make you smile, he also expressed a caring nature, asking how I was doing and eventually about my family whenever I saw him, which was unfortunately too infrequent, especially in his later years, I know my wife Mary got a kick out of him when he would stop in to harass Shaune D at Campus Link.
