Passed April 25, 2024. Beloved wife of the Late Howard. Emerson. Loving mother of Marcia (Late Rev. William) Vanderslice & June (Anthony) Piette. Loving grandmother of Rachel (Timothy) Jacobs, Jessica (Ryan Kabel) Piette, Joshua (Fiancé Brent Bloomquist) Vanderslice, Sarah (Brian) Maloney & Emilie (Jared) Manhardt. Great grandmother of Mackenzie, Madison, Michaela, Maverick, and Madison. Loving sister of Jack (Kathleen) Greenawalt. Loving aunt of Carrie (Michael) Grant & the late Scott Greenawalt. Also survived by other nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held Friday May 3, 2024 from 4-8pm at The Dietrich Funeral Home, 2480 Kensington Ave., Amherst, NY. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday May 4, 2024 at 10am at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 4007 Main St., Amherst, NY. Please assemble at church. Ms Marilyn was a wonderful beautiful soul, loved by many & very much enjoyed by all of those who came into her presence, she has a smile that makes you smile back and a love so pure every moment spent with her was heart warming and beautiful, I hope you are dancing in the sky and singing in the angels choir ! You will be missed and always remembered as the beautiful strong outgoing woman you are I send my love to ms June and Ms Marcia as well as there children at this time Mr jack and Ms Kathy ! Be strong and always think of the beautiful wonderful times spent with her 💕 I love you all !!!
