Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family. Beloved wife of the late Michael Summers, Sr.; Loving Mother of Michael (Mary T.) Summers, Mary (Frank) Scamacca, Kathleen (Mark) Meyerhofer, and Daniel (Beth) Summers. Proud Grandmother of nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 8th, 2026 at 9:30 am at Christ the King Church, 30 Lamarck Dr. (at Main St.), Amherst, NY 14226. Please assemble at Church. Shoulder pads will forever remind me of Mrs. Summers. Her daughter Mary and I were in a wedding party and I thought I would have to drop out because I had recently had surgery and the dress hurt to wear. Mary brought me to her mom, and with two shoulder pads, the pain was gone and I looked fantastic. She was a beautiful lady, and is now at peace. Praying for the entire family as they grieve the loss of both their parents.
I’m so very sorry for your loss. Eileen was always one of the nicest people in the neighborhood. I always looked forward to seeing her when I visited Amherst.
So very sad to hear of the passing of Eileen. She was my long time hair client for so many years. She held a special place in my heart as we shared so many of our life experiences and we also shared the same birthday. I know that the last few years seemed to have been a little difficult for her and I missed seeing her. Sending my love and heart felt condolences to all of you her very dear family that she loved so much!
