Beloved husband of Cynthia (Sikorski) Biedny. Loving father of Christina (fiance of Sean Jones), Andrea (Handley) Garton and Michael V. (fiance of Stephanie Radomski). Beloved papa of Emilia and Norah Garton. Fond brother of Kathy (Leo) Kozlowski, Paul (Patty) Biedny, Jerome (Patty) Biedny and Lisa (Kurt) Pilarski. Brother-in-law of Michael (Chris) Sikorski, Scott Sikorski and the late David Sikorski. Godfather of Rebecca Hunt. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2024 from 5:00-9:00pm at the Dietrich Funeral Home, Inc. 2480 Kensington Ave. Amherst, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, June 14, 2024 at 10am in the Newman Center, 495 Skinnersville Rd. Please assemble at the church. Memorials may be directed to the Newman Center. Our deepest condolences for a man that I truly admired since I knew him at Mount Carmel Prep in Niagara Falls. He was a mentor and role model to many of us young men. Gid has blessed you with a wonderful family that is a testimony to his legacy.

As a resident of the Vinecroft Independent Living complex I became acquanited with Michael as a staff member.. Although he was only with us a short time before his demise, he made an impression upon all of us .The competent, caring, professional and gentle manner with which he accomplished tasks made it a very pleasant experience. We are truly sorry for your loss and those of your family. He will be misssed.

I’ve been sitting here and wondering about how to write this and how I feel. I’m sad, I’m empty and a bit shocked. But I have been through this before and I know there is nothing that can change any of this. To Cindy, Christina, Andrea and Michael: my heart aches for what you’re going through. Michael was my friend for almost 53 years. He was always dependable, caring, kind and true. My life is better for having known him. I’m a better man for having his friendship.
