“Should we lose each other in the shadow of the evening trees. I’ll wait for you, and should I fall behind wait for me.” Godspeed my Love.
I loved Monica’s energy and sense of humor! This is hard to process. My heart goes out to Brian and the Eberl family🙏
One of my favorite Monica quotes: : I love good sax! (Referring to Clarence Clemmens of the E Street Band) She made every room she walked into brighter and welcoming. And that was 40 years ago! Lord knows s what havoc she’s perpetuated since then.
She will be missed. The world is dimmer with her departure.
Monica was my aunt and godmother. Hard to fathom she is gone. Monica had a heart as big as anyone I’ve ever known. This showed in her love of animals, music, her family, and any party she attended. She brought joy wherever she went and made every gathering brighter simply by being there. Her kindness, laughter, and love will stay with us forever. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
Oh, Brian, I am so so sorry. I never really got to meet and know Monica, but you talked about her so lovingly all the time that I felt I did. My heart is breaking for you little cousin.
I had the pleasure of working with Monica for numerous years at Marine Midland / HSBC. She was an intelligent, articulate, warm and generous woman with a wonderfully twisted sense of humor. I actually interviewed her for her first position at the bank. I’ll always remember that her response to one of my questions was….”I give good phone”, delivered with a wry smile. Perfectly Monica! Needless to say, she was my choice for the position. My sincere condolences to Brian and the family. Monica was one of those people who left you with a smile. Thank you Monica, for always being you. 🙂 <3
We will miss Monica’s wit and smile that lit up a room and treasure our times together.
I am deeply sorry to read the news of Monica’s passing and send my condolences. Monica was a colleague of mine at HSBC, and I truly enjoyed working with her! She he was a trusted friend and advisor and will be deeply missed.
Monica and I worked together many years ago at HSBC. She was a funny lady and a good person. My deepest condolences to her friends and family.
