Dear Claire, you and Paul have intersected Lois and my lives in wonderful ways, sharing a living faith in Jesus being at the top of the list. Loosing our mates is tough. I trust that our Lord will bring much comfort through the caring family that you have shepherded. I can do no more than express my love. Gary
Dr. Marrone was a great friend of my late father and one of the wittiest people I ever met. Donne wrote “every man’s death diminishes me,” and I sure feel it here.
Our deepest condolences to the Marrone family on your loss. Through our daughter-in-law, Erin Marrone Dicken, we’ve gotten to know Nick, Stephanie and Tighe, and feel blessed to be part of the extended family. We share in your sadness and send prayers for comfort. God bless.
Dearest Claire and family,
Peace Be With You All. I worked with Paul, just a little, at Cornell Aeronautical Labs.
I still have his address card with the “B-24” on it. He was a great buddy and friend.
May He Rest in Peace with his fellow aviators and all friends of C.A.L. “Calspan”.
Accept my hearty condolences. I’ll miss him too.
sincerely,
Mr. Conrad Johnson
Gene O’Connor and I were ND 1956. We met Paul the first month of 1952 as freshmen from Timon High. Paul was a grand Catholic gentleman. God Bless Paul and his family.

Dear Claire, you and Paul were a warm presence for Patrizia and me in our years at Buffalo. Paul was an exceptional applied scientist and among the few mentors in USA I will cherish always. While sharing business trips, AIAA events, socials at the Irish Pub Inn, or sailing and fishing in Canada, his warmth and humor were always unforgettable. To you and family we send prayers for comfort.

I remember Dr. Marrone as one of the luminaries of my youth, who made amazing contributions with my father to those areas of science that made Cornell Aeronautical Labs famous. He was also easygoing and fun and a loyal friend to my father to the very end, finally writing my father’s obituary for the National Academy of Engineering. He will be missed by many, but he will be missed most by his family and close friends. Please accept my condolences.
There are people in this world that you meet and just by their presence, demeanor, actions & enthusiasm they impact your life. I last saw Paul about 15 years ago and had a chance to share with him how much I admired and respected him. I am glad that I took the opportunity to share my feelings with him.
My sincere condolences to the entire Marrone family,
Dan Drozda
