Dearest husband of Anne Marie (nee Holland) Goergen; devoted father of Allison (Michael) Norwood and Sharon Goergen; dearest brother of Peter (Shannon), Mark (Laurisa), Andrew (Renee), Matthew (Lori) Goergen and Pamela (Robert) Jones.  Survived by many nieces and nephews; predeceased by his parents Peter F. Goergen, MD and Elnor (nee Wangler) Goergen and stepmothers Mary (nee Halloran) Goergen and Joan (nee McArdle) Goergen.

Thomas was an avid skier, and former instructor at Kissing Bridge in Colden, NY. His love for the outdoors extended beyond skiing to travelling, camping, hunting, fishing, and producing maple syrup.  He enjoyed going to Bills games with his friends and family.  No prior visitation, a Celebration of Life will be held at Kissing Bridge All Season Resort on August 15th, time and details to be announced, at 10296 State Rd Glenwood, NY.  Arrangements by the Dietrich Funeral Homes, Inc.  Online condolences may be shared at www.TheDietrichFuneralHome.com
