My Uncle Tim was always so kind and friendly. That is how I remember him. And though we did not get to visit him often — given that we moved west and he stayed in Buffalo, I have such fond memories of the times we did visit. I also remember that he came to Denver and was sitting on the couch with me on the night that Apollo 11 landed on the moon. I just checked, that was July 16, 1969 and we watched it on TV together, along with millions throughout the world. He was the youngest brother of my father, Francis, and I know he was always so proud to say he had a brother who was a physician. Sending love to my cousins at this time. May all the Harrington brothers — Chuck, Francis, Raymond and Timothy — be reunited in the mystery and hope that is eternal life.
RIP old friend. Amen. GA
Dear Cathy, Peter, Peter, Maggie & Mathew,
So sorry to hear of the death of your beloved father & grandfather. Although I only met him a few times over the past few years I always enjoyed his wit, humor and stories about his life & medical experiences. I know he will be missed by many & my prayers are with you all at this time.
Dear Kathy, Peter and family.
So sorry to hear of the passing of Tim. He was such a nice and interesting man and we enjoyed conversations and stories with him at his family gatherings. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
My Condolences on your Loss of your Dad, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather. Dr. Harrington was an extremely special person, he was my doctor and took pride in helping me to study anatomy so I would become a Funeral Director. He was a kind hearted happy soul. He will truly be missed, his legacy will live on through you and your family. I was blessed to have known such a great person.
I Loved talking to uncle Tim. I am so glad I spent an extra day and visited him when I was in Buffalo. I know he told me he loved me. And I told him I love you. And I know we hugged. My you rest in peace uncle Tim.
I’m very saddened to have just learned about his passing. I was a patient of his from the late 70s until his retirement. I felt like our relationship was more of a friendship. I thoroughly enjoyed our conversations during my appointments. I wish I had learned of his passing sooner so I could have paid my respects. He left a lasting impression on me, for sure!
